AJay is an experienced, serial real estate investor in the private MultiFamily apartment's deal space. He is currently passively co-invested in 3,800 apartments (20+ deals) valued at over $400 Million. Other real estate strategies currently invested include Private Retail plazas and Commercial/Industrial properties.
At MISRA Capital, AJay follows his passion for real estate investing by sourcing cash-flowing apartments to build passive income streams and oversees all capital raising, deal structuring and investor relations.
AJay has lived, studied and worked both in USA & Canada for over 25 years and is intimately familiar with both jurisdictions. He was previously employed in Public Real Estate for 16 years with City Government in Toronto and before that worked on Wall Street for 5 years raising private equity capital from Family Offices and high net worth investors funding institutional deals.
AJay is a graduate of the Real Estate Management Program at Harvard Business School and an MBA from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He is a member of Harvard Club of Toronto and Harvard Real Estate Alumni Organization.

Our primary asset class is rent- stabilized, under-market rate, light value-add , garden style multifamily property, typically 100 units minimum located in A-, B+/- suburban and metropolitan areas with good demographics and job growth.
We prefer assets built after 1980 to avoid common construction inefficiencies found in vintage assets. We target long-term employment growth markets in order to achieve stability and long term rental and value appreciation.
